Home > Michaela Kasparova Michaela Kasparova
In her works Michaela Kasparova blends several and different elements, both material elements and elements of significance. Her work is characteristic, in fact, in the abundant use of paper and inserts created by her, often puppets. Common is also the presence of paintings in paintings, in order to enhance certain details that are thus strengthened. Her paintings describe, through a genuine language of shapes and colours, the life and landscapes of the adult world but always as if in a fairy tale, like the author's expression hangs in the balance between reality and fantasy.
".. I fling the bag with pieces of crumpled and coloured paper accumulated over time. I overturn also the scraps of fabric, gathered here and there.. Here are two chaotic piles, with no shape, which is extremely exciting for me .. I enjoy building images from chaos with an eye to childhood, one to adulthood, the third to irony.."
