Theme of the work: "Macro-Microcosm"
The cycle of "Macrocosms" draws inspiration from the chromaticity of the marble walls of an abandoned quarry. The two artists spontaneously recognize themselves in the work of the other: the eye of the photographer instinctively catches the details of the marble that are closer to the pictorial style of the friend. The shoot, now on photographic canvas, is re-read and re-interpreted by the painter through the use of new colours and elements of material such as glass which has long been a favourite in the expression and research of his art. In this way, he provides the image with new reflections giving an idea of three-dimensionality.
